TESTING FORMAT

AIMS Testing takes place year round in the Dallas office between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, plus select weekend dates, and on weekend testing trips to other cities by special arrangement. The testing can either be done in a single day for minimal impact to your school or work schedule, or split over two days if you believe you will perform better with shorter hours. Please select whether you prefer single day testing, split day testing, or to participate in a testing trip.

SCHEDULING YOUR RESULTS CONFERENCE:

Once you have completed your testing, your results conference will be scheduled with your advisor. AIMS offers multiple formats and lengths of virtual conferences for maximum convenience so that you can pick the option that works best for you.

For those with limited time availability for your results conference or who prefer a more streamlined approach, Mindy Poe offers teleconferences weekdays from 5:00-6:00 PM or Saturdays from  10:00-11:00AM, 12:00-1:00PM, or 2:00-3:00 PM, which you are welcome to record.

For those who are able to devote two hours to your results conference and who prefer very thorough, detailed explanations, Delayna Griffith offers face-to-face zoom conferences on weekdays from 8:00-10:00 AM, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM, and 3:00-5:00 PM with a recording of the conference provided for you afterwards that you can watch again and again.

After you have completed the testing and your results conference is scheduled, your advisor will email you results documents, and if applicable, a zoom link, a minimum of 10-15 minutes prior to the start of your conference, if not before.

WHO IS AIMS TESTING RIGHT FOR?
SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS:

We strive to give every client the most accurate results possible and for them to complete our program having more direction and confidence than they had before coming to AIMS. With that in mind, AIMS Testing may not be right for everyone. We do not recommend testing prior to the completion of puberty because aptitudes are not fully developed until that time, and we don't want to give lifetime advice based on information that is accurate now but will change within a few years. Because of that, AIMS Testing is available for females age 15 and older who have completed puberty and males age 16 and older who have completed puberty.

Also, our tests are scored using psychometrics based on speed and accuracy to complete tasks. Because of that, we are not able to give extra time accommodations and do not get accurate measurements for people who require extra time to perform to their full potential. For this reason, we do not recommend people with processing speed disorders or unremediated learning differences participate in AIMS Testing. If you have questions about whether AIMS Testing is right for you and would like to speak with someone before you decide, please email info@aimstesting.org to request to speak with an advisor.
